Award-Winning, AI-Forward Marketing Exec for Tech Startups & SMALL BUSINESSES.
RYAN PRATT IS ALSO Family Man, Buckeye, CINEPHILE, Traveler & Early-Adopter.

Ryan Pratt is competitive, creative, and deeply curious by nature. Over the past two decades, he has built a reputation for helping small businesses and technology startups grow by blending strategic thinking, sharp analytics, and a genuine desire to solve problems. His work is driven as much by creativity and storytelling as it is by data, systems, and execution—and by a belief that marketing should connect people, not just channels.

Ryan graduated from The Ohio State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, complemented by studies in Fine Arts, including architecture, art history, and cinema. While at OSU, he served as a Buckeye sports beat writer for The Lantern, sharpening the writing instincts and audience awareness that would later define his marketing career. His background in journalism continues to shape how he approaches messaging, content, and brand narrative—clear, engaging, and built for real people, not buzzwords.

Professionally, Ryan has led marketing strategy and execution across SaaS, healthcare technology, education, and B2B services. He has been recognized in multiple industry publications and was named an American Business Awards finalist for Marketer of the Year. Known for his ability to balance competing SMB priorities, Ryan excels at quickly translating insight into action—whether that means launching new growth channels, modernizing go-to-market strategy, or building scalable demand engines. His work consistently spans revenue growth, lead quality, brand visibility, and user engagement, grounded in KPI analysis and trend awareness rather than guesswork.

Ryan currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Prescribe FIT, a full-service remote patient monitoring company recognized by Columbus Business First as a Startup to Watch and a Top Tech Company in Columbus. Since joining the company, he has helped drive more than 3× growth in a single year. Originally brought on to build an educational patient outreach program, Ryan helped launch an approach that proved to be eight times more effective than traditional in-clinic referrals—underscoring his belief that education and engagement outperform interruption.

Earlier in his career, Ryan played a key role in the merger of MBA Focus and CSO Research, later leading rebranding and growth efforts as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at GradLeaders. During his tenure, he helped connect millions of students with employers by improving how career centers matched talent to opportunity. Before that, as VP of Marketing and minority owner at ListAfterList.com, Ryan helped scale the platform from zero to more than three million annual visitors and contributed to multiple TechColumbus Innovation Award nominations for Outstanding Product.

Outside of traditional marketing roles, Ryan has consulted for dozens of SMBs and early-stage startups across B2B and B2C sectors. His work has spanned SEO, PPC, email, social, content, partnerships, thought leadership, websites, and demand generation. Collectively, the brands, platforms, and content he has built or managed have reached more than 10 million people worldwide.

Ryan’s interests outside of work mirror the curiosity and creativity he brings to his career. Shortly after graduating, he worked as a national movie critic for Examiner.com, where his attention-span-aware “See-It, Rent-It, Skip-It” reviews were read weekly by thousands of cinephiles. He later served on the Warner Bros. Blu-ray Elite Team, hosting film events and promoting adoption of emerging media formats. Though he no longer reviews films professionally, cinema—and storytelling more broadly—remains a constant influence.

Today, Ryan lives in Jerome Village with his wife, Ally, and their two sons, Finn and Maxon, in a home intentionally designed around comfort, connectivity, and the latest consumer technology. Raised by his parents to be a welcoming host, he intentionally created a space that’s practical, functional, and easy to live in—where technology enhances daily life without getting in the way. Entertaining is a natural extension of that philosophy. The Pratts enjoy opening their home to friends, neighbors, and family, especially for signature traditions like the annual PrattFall gathering and St. Pratty’s Day celebration. Their family calendar is filled with themed rituals—Christmas in July, Sharkweek, Summerween, May the 4th, Taco Tuesdays, and Movie Mondays—alongside travel and shared experiences.

When not at home, Ryan can be found paddling across Alum Creek, sampling fish-and-chips in Dublin’s Irish pubs, or lining up for the midnight release of the latest Star Wars film, Apple device, or gaming console. Family and buddy trips take him from Yosemite and Yellowstone to Ireland and Hawaii, and to events like the Kentucky Derby, Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney, Buckeye sporting events, and the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer.

Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, Ryan spent the first 35 summers of his life at his family’s cottages on the Finger Lakes in upstate New York and continues to spend long weekends throughout the year in Houghton Lake, Michigan. Wherever life takes him, Ryan approaches it the same way he approaches work: living life to the fullest, going all in on new experiences, and guided by the Pratt Family Values—be Present, show Respect, work hArd, think differenT, and stay posiTive.
